More than 30 years ago in California, with no internet and no online courses, she prepared the only way she could: reading Ina May Gaskin and Weston Price, filling her mind with birth stories, and finding a lay midwife in the Yellow Pages who had already caught 366 babies.
In this episode, Cynthia shares the spiritual breakthrough that ended five years of infertility, the moment she forgave herself and conceived her daughter two weeks later. She walks us through two very different births: a first surrounded by twelve family members, and a second so fast and primal it was over in about 90 minutes.
